QUIKPLASTIK™ Epoxy Putty Plastic Adhesive
Product Description - QUIKPLASTIK™ is a hand-mixable, fast setting epoxy that bonds to all major plastic types except polyolefins. When mixed, QUIKPLASTIK™ is the consistency of modeling clay and can be molded into shapes, wrapped around or used to build up and repair just about anything made from many rigid or semi flexible plastics. After mixing, the color of the putty fades to white.
Basic Uses - Bonds to PVC (polyvinyl chloride), CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride), ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) and other types of plastics.
Automotive – Attach, rebuild and repair many types of automotive plastic. Do not use on polyethylene parts such as gasoline tanks.
Appliances – Repair and rebuild plastic appliance housings and parts including the interior of refrigerators and freezers.
Plumbing – Seals leaks and bonds to major types of plastics approved for plumbing pipe, e.g., PVC, CPVC, ABS.
Color - White
Packaging - QUIKPLASTIK™ is packed in a reusable clear plastic tube with a plastic friction top.

Application
Surface Preparation: In order to achieve optimum adhesion, surfaces should be clean and free of grease and dirt. Scuffing or sanding the surface prior to cleaning helps ensure a good bond. Degreasers such as mineral spirits or isopropyl alcohol are effective. See manufacturer’s MSDS for safety precautions when using solvents or degreaser.
Mixing: Twist or cut off required amount. To mix, knead with fingers to a uniform color. If mixing is difficult, warm QUIKPLASTIK™ to a room temperature of slightly above. Apply to the surface to be repaired while the putty is still soft and applicable. Force into any cracks or holes to be filled and extend the patch at least ½" beyond the area being repaired.
For a smooth appearance of the cured compound, hand rub with water or a damp cloth prior to hardening. Remove excess material before hardening begins. After 30-45 minutes the epoxy will begin to form a tenacious bond. After 2-3 hours QUIKPLASTIK™ can be drilled, sawed, carved, sanded, stained, or painted.
Health Precautions - When mixing by hand, QUIKPLASTIK™ does not cause skin irritation to individuals with normal skin sensitivity. Individuals with extra sensitive skin should maintain caution and wash hands thoroughly after mixing the compound, or wear thin plastic gloves. QUIKPLASTIK™ has been classified non-toxic and non-skin irritating when tested versus the requirements of the Federal Hazardous Substances Labeling Act.
