Warning

• This device can be extremely hot and must be operated with great care. Keep the hot blade away from flammable objects and away from skin.
• Do not submerge the knife in water. It could cause a short-circuit and/or electric shock.
• Never leave the knife in reach of children.

Operating Instructions

1. Use with 110 VAC only. Plug the unit into a 110 VAC outlet.
2. Hold the knife handle and place the blade on the object you wish to cut or melt.
3. Apply power to the blade by pressing the red activation button.
4. Release the red activation button once the object starts to melt or when faint smoke begins to appear.
5. Apply light downward force on the knife handle and guide the knife as it melts through the object.
6. Control the blade temperature by pressing and releasing the red activation button. (pressing- heating up; releasing-cooling down)
7. Continuously pressing the red activation button will cause the internal auto protection mechanism to shut down the unit for a 3-4 minute cooling period. However, after cooling, the unit will perform for normal operations again.
8. A red power display light will shine while the red activation button is pressed during normal operations. During the shut down period, the display light will remain off, even if the operator presses the red activation button.
