| Sculpt Nouveau also has created special metal coatings to be used in conjunction with the patinas to simulate a metal finish. They can be used on glass, wood, ceramics, and more. These coatings are made of a ground metal in a water base and were initially created over 20 years ago to simulate copper roofing material. Their durability has been extensively tested in both indoor and outdoor environments. |

| These coatings adhere to most surfaces, except mirror smooth, by any technique (air brush, sponge, brush, etc.). Sculpt Nouveau sells three types of metal coatings, A, B, and C. Coating A is self-sealing. Patinas must be applied within 3-15 minutes of application, however, an additional clear coat is not needed. Patinas can be added to metal coating B either wet or dry. However, B is not self-sealing. A clear coat should be added to protect the patina. B can also be burnished back to create a nice shine. Coating C is a brand new formula from Sculpt Nouveau. It is still water based like A & B, but can be polished like metal with power tools when dry to create an incredible surface. |
