- When polishing precious metals like gold and silver, use this bit with the #421 polishing compound (jeweler’s rouge) and apply lightly.

DESCRIPTION - Buff constructed of non-woven fibers impregnated with aluminum oxide (coarse) and silicon carbide (medium). Packaged with one coarse buff and one medium buff.
USES - Ideal for cleaning and light sanding. They work effectively on metal, glass, wood, aluminum and plastics. Suggested uses include finish sanding, rust removal, paint and lacquer removal, light deburring on metals and plastics, cleaning solder connections, and creating textured patterns on woodworking projects.
