Riffler files were originally designed for use by silversmith's and die maker's but have been adapted to a wide variety of industries and uses. They are a "0" cut and quite effective on the softer stones (alabaster, soapstone and marble). Bronze sculptors and fabricators use them for chasing and finishing. They are also heavily employed by our jewelry makers for both wax and the finished precious metals.
