TinSil® 70 Series rubbers consist of a liquid Part B base and Part A accelerator, which after mixing at the proper ratio by weight, cure at room temperature to flexible, high tear strength, RTV (room temperature vulcanizing) silicone rubbers. All TinSil® 70 Series mold rubbers are tin-catalyzed, condensation-cure systems. They are ideal for molds where easy release or high temperature resistance is needed. They are recommended for evaluation as mold materials for polyester, epoxy and polyurethane resins and waxes.

TinSil® 70-25 cures to Shore A-25 hardness within 24-48 hours. (TinSil® 70-30 is slightly tougher and firmer than TinSil® 70-25.

For Faster Cure - TinSil® FastCat can be used in addition to or in place of any TinSil® Part A for an accelerated demold. For Softer Cure - Silicone Fluid can be added sparingly to any TinSil® System. TinThix for thickening TinSil.

OOMOO 25 is a new 1A:1B by volume mix silicone rubber that has better over all properties (tear strength, etc.). OOMOO 25 has a relatively low viscosity and does not require vacuum degassing.

This, plus the 1A:1B by volume mix ratio is a big advantage for the hobby market, novice mold makers, etc. that do not have a scale to properly weigh product or a vacuum pump to de-air standard silicone products.

No Vacuuming – No Scale – Stupid Name… Introducing OOMOO 25. OOMOO 25 is easy to use silicone rubber compounds that features convenient one to one by volume mix ratio (no scale necessary). It has very low viscosity for easy mixing and pouring, and vacuum degassing is not necessary. OOMOO 25 cures at room temperature with negligible shrinkage. OOMOO 25 is a faster version, with a 15 minute pot life and 75 minute cure time. (OOMOO 30 has a 30 minute pot life, with a 6 hour cure time.) This rubber was designed for the novice mold making – OOMOO silicones do not have great tear strength. They are good for making simple one or two piece block molds. If you require high-tear strength silicone, Mold Max Silicones are recommended.

A high strength, two-component, tin-catalyzed, room temperature cured silicone rubber. It is designed as a 28 Shore A, medium viscosity rubber providing excellent physical properties, long library life and accurate detail reproduction.

Mold Max Silicones are new tin-cured silicone rubber compounds that have exceptional tear strength and working properties. Mold Max Silicones cure overnight and feature knotty tear propagation (if the rubber is torn, the tear quickly terminates in a “knot” reducing further mold damage).

Mold Max Silicones will reproduce the finest detail and are suitable for a variety of industrial and art related applications including making molds for reproducing prototype, furniture, sculpture and architectural elements. Mold Max 10, 20 & 30 Silicones can be thickened with THI-VEX II thixotropic additive for brush-on application and accelerated using FastCat 30.

Mold Max Silicones can also be used to cast a variety of materials including wax, gypsum, low melt alloys/metals and urethane, epoxy or polyester resins (without using a release agent).

GI-1000 is a high tear strength, tin-catalyzed RTV-2 silicone rubber, which was designed for casting polyester parts. GI-1000 is not sensitive to inhibition, meaning it will sure at room temperature over virtually any surface. It is easy to mix and de-air, and will cure with only a slight degree of shrinkage. The speed at which the rubber hardens can be accelerated with special activators.

Condensation cure, two-component silicone rubbers are excellent for most general mold making and prototype applications. They are excellent for casting waxes, gypsum, epoxies and other plastics. GI-1000 is extremely useful for those applications where superior mechanical properties are required.

Slightly tougher than the 70-25, this rubber is well suited to larger, less detailed jobs. It is particularly good for low- temperature metal-casting because of its high heat resistance. It can be used as an undercoat for Resilpom® but take 24 hours to cure.

Resilpom Liquid is a low viscosity, 32 Durometer (Shore A), two component, tin catalyzed, room temperature curing silicone elastomer. It is designed as a high strength elastomer with good cured rubber properties, long library life and accurate detail reproduction. Resilpom Liquid can be catalyzed with Resilpom Liquid Fast Cat Blue, and can be made thixotropic with Thixo Additives for brush on or spray molds. Can be thickened with Thivex and thinned with the silicone oils below. Great for use with Resilpom Putty.
