Join The Compleat Sculptor and Christi Friesen as she debuts her newest sculpting book. The event will begin at 6:30 pm with a short demo of one of the projects from her new book. After the demo Christi will be available to chat, answer questions, autograph books, and generally have a clayfully good time. |

"Here Be Dragons" dragon focal bead
Saturday April 12, 10am to 1pm $65.00
Dragons are CF’s signature pieces, and this is her most popular class. This workshop will emphasize creativity, color mixing and incorporating embellishments into polymer clay. Finished dragons can also be used as small wall pieces instead of beads. Each student’s piece will look uniquely their own, as this is a trademark of Christi’s classes.

"Rising Up" phoenix mirror
Saturday April 12, 3pm to 6pm $65.00
In this workshop, students will create a wall-piece around a mirror, featuring a flaming phoenix rising up from the ashes. Emphasis will be on composition, color blending, and incorporating bead and stone embellishments into the polymer clay sculpture work.

"In the Bush" Australian koala vessel

In this workshop, students will create a sculptural vessel featuring an Australian eucalyptus tree forest with eucalyptus flowers, a cuddly koala hiding in the branches, and other Australian flora and fauna.
